Core Values
1. Integrity
At our company, Integrity is the bedrock of our culture. It means upholding ethical behaviour, honesty, and high moral principles at every level of our organisation. Placing Integrity at the heart of our values reinforces a culture of trust and respect, essential for establishing our success and a strong reputation. Conducting our business in an honest and responsible manner builds trust with all stakeholders and sustains our competitiveness over time.
2. Coexistence
Coexistence, as a core value, represents our commitment to fostering an environment where team members of diverse backgrounds, expertise, and perspectives collaborate and grow together through mutual respect and cooperation. By prioritising Coexistence, we build a healthy and sustainable organisational culture that brings positive impacts to all stakeholders and the community.
3. Innovation
Innovation as our core value represents our persistent pursuit of continuous improvement, creative thinking, and the practical application of innovative methods or ideas. This commitment is not only fundamental to our ethos but also crucial for maintaining a leading position in the market, staying competitive, and driving sustainable growth. By embracing Innovation as a core value, we drive transformation and continually innovate to generate fresh value in the marketplace.
To achieve high performance, we focus on three key areas:
1. Root Causes
Focusing on root causes involves identifying the fundamental, underlying issues that lead to problems or inefficiencies. By addressing these root causes rather than just the symptoms, organisations can implement more effective and lasting solutions. This approach helps prevent recurring problems and improves overall system stability and performance.
2. Effectiveness
Effectiveness refers to the degree to which an organization or system achieves its intended goals or outcomes. It's about doing the right things to achieve desired results. Focusing on effectiveness involves setting clear objectives, measuring progress, and ensuring that activities and initiatives align with strategic goals. This focus helps organisations maximise their impact and value creation.
3. Efficiency
Efficiency is about using resources—such as time, money, and materials—wisely and minimizing waste. It involves optimising processes, improving productivity, and reducing costs without sacrificing quality. Focusing on efficiency ensures that the organisation operates smoothly and sustainably, delivering goods or services in the most resource-effective way possible.
Quick Iteration of PDCA
1. Plan
Establish objectives and processes required to deliver the desired results.
2. Do
Carry out the objectives from the previous step.
3. Check
During the check phase, the data and results gathered from the do phase are evaluated. Data is compared to the expected outcomes to see any similarities and differences. The testing process is also evaluated to see if there were any changes from the original test created during the planning phase. If the data is placed in a chart it can make it easier to see any trends if the plan–do–check–adjust cycle is conducted multiple times. This helps to see what changes work better than others and if said changes can be improved as well.
4. Adjust
This phase is where a process is improved. Records from the "do" and "check" phases help identify issues with the process. These issues may include problems, non-conformities, opportunities for improvement, inefficiencies, and other issues that result in outcomes that are evidently less-than-optimal. Root causes of such issues are investigated, found, and eliminated by modifying the process. Risk is re-evaluated. At the end of the actions in this phase, the process has better instructions, standards, or goals. Planning for the next cycle can proceed with a better baseline. Work in the next do phase should not create a recurrence of the identified issues; if it does, then the action was not effective
